We at Olavsfest are pleased to announce that registration for this year's market is open.
The market happens in the area around Nidaros Cathedral 28.07–03.08.2024.
For centuries, pilgrims have come to Trondheim/Nidaros. Around the pilgrimage destination, the cathedral, people have been able to visit stalls and buy high-quality handicrafts. Olavsfest preserve this tradition and during the festival we will fill the area with market stalls and tents, culture and activities.
ORGANIZATIONS AND EXHIBITORS
Årets Olavsmarked vil bygge videre på ideen om å være et marked for informasjon, meninger og ideer. Markedet rommer også utstillinger og salg av håndverk. Vi jobber med å engasjere flere organisasjoner til Olavsmarkedet, disse kan bidra til å løfte festivalens fokus på menneskerettigheter og verdispørsmål som er relevant for alle mennesker. Her ønsker vi at publikum skal kunne slå av en prat, lære og oppleve noe nytt, utveksle meninger og ideer og bli informert. Vi oppfordrer også organisasjonene til å bidra med aktiviteter som skaper liv. Organisasjonsdelen av Olavsmarkedet vil være plassert på Ytre kongsgård.
In Domkirkeparken (the cathedral park) there will be a wide selection of quality products. We want a varied selection of all types of crafts, literature, art, delicacies, plants, food products, etc. The selection of exhibitors will be based on the criteria quality, sustainability, craftsmanship and innovation.
We want both exhibitors and organizations to think about how they can fit into the festival's theme, POWER.
OPENING HOURS for THE Handicraft Market:
28.07 – 03.08: 10.00–18.00
OPENING HOURS for Organizations::
28.07 – 03.08: 10.00–16.00
All organisations and exhibitors are required to keep the following opening hours (subject to change):
Setup: 27.07 kl. 14.00–20.00
Downrigging: 03.08 kl. 18.00–20.00
All stalls have access to electricity (1 x 16A 230V) included in the rental price.
Market Stall:
The stall is approx. 2x3 meters, with a door on one short side and wide desks on the three other sides. It can be completely shut at night – please bring your own padlock for the door.

Prices in NOK excl. VAT:
Market stall: NOK 16,000
Organisations: Cost price
In addition, there is a registration fee of NOK 2,000.
Registration fee payment deadline: 1 May 2024
Rental fee to be paid by 1 July 2024
Application deadline: 15/05/2024
The registration fee is not refunded if the exhibitor/organisation withdraws after this has been paid.
