You can buy tickets through our programme pages, on Ticketmaster, by phone +47 815 33 133, across the counter at Trondheim Torg and at our ticket booth at the Olav's Market (opening hours below). Tickets are also on sale at the entrance of Byscenen and Church of Our Lady. Please note that tickets on sale at the entrance are 50 kroner more expensive than tickets bought in advance. Tickets for museums, exhibitions etc. can be bought at the entrance. Tickets for guided tours of Nidaros Cathedral can be purchased in Nidaros Cathedral Visitor Centre at The West Front. Tickets for guided tours of Håkon Gullvåg's home and atelier can be purchased through our programme pages.


Innslipp til konserter er 30 minutter før start (Borggården åpner 19.00, bortsett fra på Rasmus og Verdens Beste Sommershow, da den åpner 16.00). Det er av sikkerhetshensyn ikke tillatt med paraplyer eller stoler i Borggården. Vi anbefaler å være ute i god tid til konsertene i Borggården for å være sikret inngang til konsertstart.


There is no charge for children under 3.

There is no age limit for Olav’s Festival events, with the exception of those at Byscenen where the age limit is 18.


Seats are numbered in Church of Our Lady and Nidaros Cathedral. At all other festival venues, seating is unnumbered. There is standing only in The Archbishop’s Courtyard, with the exception of the Psalm Evening where there are seats.
