Olav’s Festival is part of Accessibility Culture-Norway and has been awarded the Accessibility mark for good accessibility for people with impaired functionality.
ACCOMPANYING PERSON ID
Olav’s Festival accepts accompanying person ID at all events. For concerts with numbered seating, please make sure that you inform of an accompanying person when buying your ticket at Ticketmaster. You then pay only the ticket fee for the accompanying person. For concerts without numbered seating, you simply come and show the accompanying person ID with your own ticket.
There are induction loops at most events. Read more below.

Det er tegnspråktolk under åpningsseremonien, alle Vestfrontmøtene samt forestillingen «Når sleipe slanger hvisker» onsdag 31. juli kl. 15.00. Det vil også være tegnspråktolk under Boklanseringen av Passio Olavi på Vestfrontplassen lørdag 03.august kl.12:15. Under åpningssermonien vil det også være skrivetolk.

The Archbishop’s Courtyard
This venue has an elevated platform for disabled visitors, with it's own toilet. These have their own ticket category at Ticketmaster. At the evening concerts, these seats also have it's own serving. The seats are reserved for wheelchair users and others with disabilities. If you need to sit down during the concerts, we offer a limited amount of chairs - but those are at ground level with a reduced view.
The Archbishop's Courtyard has an induction loop covering the right side of the area, seen from the public seats.
The Nidaros Cathedral has stepless entrance both to the west and east ship. It's got designated wheelchair seats and a wheelchair elevator to the cellar toilets. The Cathedral has an induction loop covering the whole venue.
The West Front Square
Reserved wheelchair seats. The closest toilet for disabled is at the Visitor's Centre. The stand has an induction loop.
Byscenen has stepless entrance, elevator and a toilet for disabled. Seats for wheelchairs, both for standing and sitting audience concerts. Byscenen does not have and induction loop.
The Church of Our Lady
Stepless entrance and designated wheelchair seats. Induction loop covers the whole venue.
This year, the Olav's Market will move to the park area northwest of the cathedral, close to the Visitor's centre and Trondheim Kunstmuseum. The closest toilet for disabled guests will be at the Vistor's centre.
Public transport and parking
Most of our events take place in the Trondhiem city centre, easily reached by public transport. Bus stops closest to the main festival area is "Prinsen kinosenter".
This is approximately 100 metres from our main venues.
Closest to Byscenen are "Prinsen P1/P2" (100 metres). Closest to the Church of Our Lady is "Munkegata" (250 metres)
There is parking space in the city centre, but none reserved for Olavsfest. Detailed info at www.trondheimparkering.no Here you can see where to find designated parking spots for disabled.
